Laboratory Medicine (Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and<br\/>Clinical Molecular Biology)&#8221;, founded in 1969, an official member of the International<br\/>and European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine \u2013 IFCC and EFLM<br\/>\u2013 which gathers professionals in Laboratory Medicine, aims to achieve the following objectives:<br\/>\uf034 to bring together those who, for professional or research reasons, carry out their activities<br\/>in the field of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology or related fields;<br\/>\uf034 to promote initiatives aimed at improving \u2013 in the field of Laboratory Medicine<br\/>\u2013 cultural preparation, necessary professional updates, and<br\/>the organization of laboratories; in particular, for these purposes, the Association promotes and<br\/>organizes cultural events and courses aimed at acquiring ECM educational credits<br\/>in various sectors of Biomedicine and Laboratory Medicine for professionals in<br\/>the fields of Medicine and Surgery (general and specialized), as well as in Diagnostic Services;<br\/>\uf034 to collaborate for the establishment of specialization courses with a unified program at the national<br\/>level and to facilitate the integration of graduates from various categories into laboratories with<br\/>responsibilities corresponding to the qualifications obtained; to facilitate the exchange of<br\/>scientific and technical documentation and information useful for the performance of professional<br\/>activities; to promote the establishment of standard methods and the implementation of<br\/>overall quality, including quality control, as well as certification and<br\/>accreditation in clinical analysis laboratories;<br\/>\uf034 to directly or indirectly promote scientific research in the field of<br\/>Laboratory Medicine;<br\/>\uf034 to promote the establishment of reference laboratories;<br\/>\uf034 to establish collaborative relationships with national and international scientific societies and<br\/>federations, particularly with the International and European Federations of<br\/>Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC and EFLM);<br\/>\uf034 to promote friendly relations among Members and to promote cultural and scientific collaboration between various laboratories;<br\/>\uf034 to organize scientific meetings at regional, national, and international levels;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Association &#8220;SIBioC &#8211;
